A few different methods are used in producing the
buttons I make.
 |
The stamped buttons
have designs in dark relief pressed into the metal.
|
 |
The Repousse buttons
are pressed into a two part mold so that they have a rippled
or fluted look. This is a very old Navajo style often seen
in old pawn. |
 |
The coin buttons are
authentic coins that are pressed into a dome, then the finding
is attached to the back. These are quite popular. |
 |
My buttons have a metal
sewing loop as the standard finding. Please contact
me if you would like any other finding such as
Chicago screws, Rivets, Snaps, Belt or Scarf straps,
Tie Tack pins, Key Rings, Money clips, Furniture tacks,
etc. |
The smallest buttons are 24 gauge,
the 3/4" and larger are 22 gauge with the exception of the 1006 series in the
1". They are a 26 gauge which is thinner. The material is German silver
and/or red brass.
